Kitchen Cronicles, 2020.

There are a lot of faults in my kitchen. There are things that need fixing or replacing. It’s a dated 1960’s kitchen. The cupboards are out of alignment, some hinges are mismatched, some door latches are missing, there’s chipped paint from knocks and bangs, smeared paint from previous touch-ups, and cracks from an Earth tremor. It’s not the perfect kitchen, but I love sitting in there. It’s my haven that gives me comfort and joy.
